What training courses and professional development do you offer?

The Mentor Support Network offers the following courses for professional development:

  • Introduction to Mentoring (1 day)
What is mentoring? You will find out on this course, as well as learning about the mentoring process, boundaries, and confidentiality; including child protection training.
If you are new to mentoring, or would like the opportunity for a refresher, this will be a great course for you.
  • Mentoring in Action (1 day)
This is the follow-up to our ‘Introduction to Mentoring’ course. You will learn about mentor communication skills, such as reflective listening and questioning skills, specifically for mentoring. You will also learn to focus on strengths and positive psychology in the approach to mentoring as well as receiving a practical application of mentoring theory and experience mentoring in action.
If you have completed the Introduction to Mentoring course and are looking to take the next step or if you are an experience mentor who is looking to upskill or refresh your existing skill set, then you won’t want to miss this course.
